Centre, Community and In Home Supports

Blairlogie offers a range of on-site activities and services as well as support to enable people to participate in their community.

Our beautiful, six-acre property in Cranbourne South is only a few minutes' drive from both Frankston and Cranbourne, meaning we access lots of different venues and activities.

Our programs are designed to provide opportunities for people to gain and use living and vocational skills and enjoy the full range of opportunities that are on offer in the community. All programs are available either on a full or part-time basis.

As our client, you will receive individual assistance from fully-trained, professional staff to select, access and participate in programs provided by Blairlogie or other community organisations. We will help you choose programs and activities best suited to your needs and provide regular reviews and support.

We currently provide a range of opportunities on-site, we also utilise a range of Community Venues to provide supports. These currently include::
Creative Art and Design activities are held at Blairlogie in our specifically set up workshop. These activities are a great opportunity to explore many different creative processes, mediums and techniques to express yourself through your creative flare. Each year, all participants who take part in our creative art and design activities are also highly encouraged to enter their work into the annual Art Show.
Media activities are held in Blairlogie's onsite media workshop, setup and designed to replicate a studio. These activities create opportunities to work on various forms of media platforms. Learn and develop skills in various styles of communication, videoing and filming, layouts and visual effect work.
Independent Living Skills are skills required to meet the challenges of daily living. This can include tasks such as making your bed, food or meal preparation, money management, personal care, clothing management and accessing the community. Building these skills encourages participants to be as independent as they can be and do more for themselves.
Community programs offer activities that create the opportunity to develop friendships and social connections with like-minded people while having fun, exploring your interests, learning a new skill or having a valued role within Blairlogie or the wider community.
Horticulture and Environment activities is a great way to connect with like-minded people who want to nurture their green thumbs and gardening skills. Learn about plants and plant care, sustainable gardening practices and ways to engineer a greener and healthier environment.
The music and drumming program aims to create an inclusive and supportive environment where participants can explore rhythm, music, and movement regardless of their abilities. The program is designed to accommodate a diverse range of disabilities, including physical, sensory, cognitive, and developmental challenges.
Literacy and numeracy skills are the foundations of lifelong learning and full participation in society. These skills empower people to make meaning, think critically and creatively, and reach their full potential while encouraging independence.
Sports and Recreation offer some great activities to experience and provide opportunities for increased physical activity, improved mobility, developing strong bonds and friendships over a shared interest and being a valued member of a team or group and helps you sleep better.
Blairlogie also provides individual support to people in their own home and/or to access the community.
